We decided to commision a really full on humbucker with this one. Something for an aggressive style of play that still requires a little bit of finess when it comes to the finer things in life. The Alan bolts mean you can simply alter the sound by staggering across the strings. A great way to get that custom thrash metal sound.

The Bridge (10k (+/-10%)) and Neck (10k (+/-10%)) are both well balanced, and closely matched to give you the most from your guitar, but, as with all active pickups, although the sound is powerful and balanced across the board, but, if anything, a little sterile as their designed to drive through a series of effects pedals and give a fairly clean representation of string movements rather then shine with their own character. If your looking for charming, characterful pickups, Actives probably aren't for you, but if your a wizard with a pedal board, its maybe worth looking into, and these pickups are a great place to start.

The BurstBucker Pro humbucker follows the success of the original Gibson BurstBucker pickup series but with the addition of an Alnico 5 Magnet for a tigher responce and enhanced "Bite". As with many og the original PAF Gibson Humbuckers of the late fifties, it features symetrical coil windings. This magical combination gives the BurstBucker Pro a full, crisp and airy tone and when over driven it achieves that magical, creamy distortion that made the original famous.

These pickups are great for most situations, but they really prove their worth when you need a little bit more bite then a single coil, but not as much body as a humbucker in music such as Jazz, heavier country and light rock.

Axesrus "Fat Felines" P90s

Our take on a Classic P90 sound, but this time in a more widely accepted, Humbucker body.

In these pickups, we've gone for bit of a differance between Bridge (7.8k (+/-10%)) and Neck (3.5k (+/-10%)) to give differant feels and sounds between the two positions.

Personally, we like to play the bridge pickup for short, sharp barky chords to get that subtle, warm tone, and click into the neck whenever we need something a little bit mellower (or something that needs some thin, distorted riffs that aren't going to drowned everything else out)
