Simply put, these are some of the very best 3rd party locking machine heads we've seen on the market. Works exactly as you'd expect - just slacken the disc on the back, opening up the string hole, insert the string and tighten back up, then string up as normal.

Reliced Vintage Axesrus Kluson Style Machine Heads - Split Posts

An offshoot of our ever popular Kluson style split posts. With a blatent nod towards their heritage in the 50s and 60s, we've finally sourced them in a heavily reliced finish.

Mechanically, they're still perfectly operational, but the nickel finish has been scratched, dinged, pitted and rusted, mimicing years of heavy use. Certainly not for the feint hearted, but absolutely perfect for that historically accurate build aiming for that heavily worn look.

Supplied with reliced bushes and screws, keeping every part of the guitar in keeping with the reliced, distressed ethos.
